How big is the district?

  • School District No. 8 has 24 schools as well as Homelinks, a home learning program serving Creston, Nelson, and Kaslo; and the Central Education Centre, which offers a variety of alternate programs and houses the Distance Education School of the Kootenays - for more information, see "Schools"

  • The District's physical area covers approximately 15,000 square kilometers and includes several communities.  For more info, see "About Us"
