School Leadership Changes for 2022/2023

Thanks to all our talented, hard-working principals and vice-principals across SD8 who are leading our students and staff into the final stretch of the school year. As we head toward the summer months, we have a few exciting changes in store:

• Blewett Elementary School Principal Tim Mushumanski will move to Trafalgar Middle School on August 1, 2022 as the new principal. 
• Elev8-DESK Vice-principal Ron Sherman will take on the role of temporary principal of J.V. Humphries Elementary-Secondary School beginning August 1, 2022- July 31, 2023. 
• L.V. Rogers Secondary School Temporary Vice-principal Danielle Klassen will assume a continuing vice-principal position at L.V. Rogers Secondary School.  
• District Principal, Secondary and Innovative Learning Tamara Malloff will continue to provide support as interim principal of L.V. Rogers Secondary School as the school starts up in 2022-23 while Principal Paul Luck is away.
• Interim Principal Daniela Fiess will continue in her principal role at Crawford Bay Elementary Secondary School until Sarah Wick’s return in 2022-23.

Congratulations to all! We’re in very good hands for the 2022/2023 school year.
