On April 16, a shiny shiver of redfish students and staff celebrated one of our amazing bus drivers Richard Zimmerman who captained the Shark route that traveled daily from the North Shore to Nelson and return. 

Richard received cards, drawings, and thanks galore from everyone on his route both at Redfish and across the Nelson Family of Schools. 

Richard greets and says goodbye to every student on his bus with an amazing and positive attitude that ensures every student feels welcome and included. 

Transportation staff are hoping to use some video of Richard's wonderful greetings and goodbyes for a new SD8 driver training video - with the Shark Bus captain's permission of course! 

Thank you Richard, and many happy adventures as you swim into retired life.
