Ordering Transcripts from the Ministry of Education
Individuals can order transcripts directly from the Ministry of Education. The Ministry of Education will only have your transcript if you were a student who:
- Graduated after 1985 in B.C. or Yukon Territory; or
- Completed a Grade 12 course after 1985
To order your transcript you are required to:
- Register for a B.C. Government account (BCeID)
- Obtain your 9-digit Personal Education Number (PEN) found on report cards
- If you cannot locate your PEN, please visit: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/education-training/k-12/support/pen-services/pen
- Order your transcripts through the ministry by visiting: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/education-training/k-12/support/transcripts-and-certificates
Permanent Student Records
If you require a copy of your Permanent Student Record (PSR), please complete the Permanent Student Record Request Form and submit it to ea.superintendent@sd8.bc.ca along with a piece of government issued ID (ex: Driver's License).
