What is Black Excellence Day? As a lead up to Black History Month, Black Excellence Day is a day to rejoice Black history and learn about Black stories, Black art and Black people, and a day to stand in solidarity with Black Canadians. January 15th is in honour of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. who was born on January 15, 1929.




From May 26 to June 1, 2024, let's celebrate the significant and innovative contributions of persons with disabilities in Canada, and the accomplishments of people who proactively identify, remove, and prevent barriers to accessibility and disability inclusion in their communities and workplaces.
