The Kootenay Lake School District acknowledges, respects, and honors the First Nations in whose traditional territories the District operates and all Aboriginal people residing within the boundaries of School District #8.
The overall purpose of this Enhancement Agreement is to enhance the success of our Aboriginal students and to raise the awareness of all members of the School District #8 community to Aboriginal culture, tradition, and issues.
Our Enhancement Agreement was signed on Saturday, June 21st, 2014 at 10:00am at the Lower Kootenay Band office.
