Marked annually in Canada on April 28, the National Day of Mourning is dedicated to remembering those who have lost their lives, suffered injury or illness on the job, or experienced a work-related tragedy.

A day to recognize the incredibly important and sometimes unseen work that administrative professionals do each and every day in support of students, families and other staff.
And, a day to thank the administrative professionals who keep it all together across SD8!

April 16 is a day to recognize your school bus driver and their tremendous commitment to safely taking students to and from school, on field trips, and to school activities. Thank you!

On November 8th SD8 pays tribute to the First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples who have served and continue to serve in Canada’s military in times of war and peace.
