District Indigenization Coordinators specialize in supporting best practices for Indigenization of the K-12 curriculum, keeping Indigenous student success and learning at the center of this work. This position supports a district wide action plan aligned with Truth and Reconciliation – Calls to Action in Education, School District Goals, Aboriginal Education Enhancement Agreement goals, and Provincial standards for supporting Indigenous student success. The Coordinators work together to facilitate district wide initiatives and collaborate with Nation and community partners.
